Rights Management System Manager - 6 months

About the role

You will work with our Rights Management team on the implementation and onboarding of a new rights management system for The Match Factory, along with all follow-up maintenance and new feature updates. You will manage the input of existing and new content agreements into the rights management system. This will include workflow and process creation, data cleansing, QCs and liaising with stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

This is a fixed term contract for 6 months.

You will focus on:

  • Bridging the gap between the existing rights management system and the new one

  • Ensuring the correct implementation of crucial functionalities for The Match Factory’s internal workflow in the new RMS

  • Being the go-to person for any internal requests or queries regarding rights in and rights out, e.g. avails reports, expiration dates, rights conflicts, legal deliverables, marketing restrictions, talent approvals, and key financial terms

  • Tracking all contract terms and post-signature options or commitments while the two RMS are existing simultaneously

  • Developing and managing any other rights management workflows as required including setting up a handbook across departments

  • Working on ad hoc planning and operational projects as needed.

 

What you will bring:

  • Strong previous experience in a Rights Management role

  • Advanced ability working with rights management systems and data administration tools such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

  • Solid understanding of legal / contractual vocabulary

  • Efficiency, preciseness and high attention to detail

  • Project management experience

  • Motivated to work both independently and collaboratively, and feel comfortable working as part of a team

  • (Desired) Experience in the film/TV industry

  • (Desired) Business affairs or paralegal experience
